As a convention, the double seventh festival in Fussa was held from August 4 to 7. This year, NJA also participated in the decoration of wishing bamboo and Vega beauty contest.

       【Decorating Wishing Bamboo】
       One hour before the beginning of double seventh ceremony, it drizzled. Teachers and students in NJA put the scrip with wishing words in the bamboo. To make all the wishes come true, everyone tried hard to better the decoration. It stopped raining while the decoration was finished. We went to cheer the students participating in the beauty contest.  

       【Vega Beauty Contest on the Double Seventh Festival】
       The Vega Beauty Contest was the opening show for the ceremony. This year, Li Yan took part in the contest on behalf of NJA. She had made her speech fluently which was practiced diligently, and had attracted the eyeballs of everyone present with her consistent overwhelming smile. There was particularly large number of classmates coming to cheer her. She expressed her appreciation to the classmates. Thank you very much for your encouragement with which I relieved my nervousness, she said. Though we had not won a place in the contest, a nice memory was kept in Li Yan or the cheering students’ hearts.
